Dr. Michele Laboda completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She traveled north to the University of Pennsylvania to obtain her D.M.D. before returning south to attend Louisiana State University for her Certificate in Orthodontics. In practice for 10 years, Dr. Laboda is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and is the past president of the Lee County Dental Association.
Fort Myers Orthodontist - Dr. Van Speas
After receiving his B.S. degree at Northern Michigan University, Dr. Van Speas obtained his D.D.S. and M.S. in Orthodontics from Northwestern University and has been in private practice for 20 years. Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Speas stays abreast of the latest advances in his field with memberships in the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Speas has two children and two step-children who keep him very busy. In his spare time, he is an avid tennis player and enjoys lawnmower racing and boating. A Florida Gators fan, Dr. Speas also enjoys volunteering with Health Volunteers Overseas, Dental Volunteers in Israel and Operation Smile.
